Went out for a quiet evening meal and we weren't disappointed so we will definitely be back. Amazing!
Food & drinks: Great home cooked food with warm friendly service.

Attentive servers and manager/ owner. Nice mint sauce and mash, but dry overcooked lamb chops and overcooked cabbage and carrot. I would expect more for £15++ dinner.

Didn't have a room, so I can't talk about that. We went for a birthday lunch and I must say the food was great, service was good. The Inn had loads of tables ,but it's best you book one ,as it got very busy, and this was midweek.
Food & drinks: Food was good, most meals were around £15 so its good value for the portion sizes.

Had a meal here last Saturday and sat in the lovely garden to eat as we had our dogs with us. Food was great. Service was good, will definitely go back. Just a bit awkward trying to reach drinks from the bar due to other customers sitting there and not moving!

Attractive traditional pub, beams and fireplace etc Menu on the board. We had Sunday roast, belly of pork, leg of lamb and topside of beef. My leg of lamb was freshly carved and lovely and moist. Nice selection of fresh veg, served on the side. The blackberry and apple crumble was home made and delicious.

Visited late Sunday afternoon, unfortunately too late for food, they have a good menu, the beer was good, we had no problem parking and the greyhound was welcome. The garden has a pergola with grapes and there is a field for caravan camping and glamping pods behind, it's a well thought out facility.

Fabulous, delicious, home cooked food...I loved the fish pie and gluten-free ... Great service ...the pub looks very tired from the outside, but don't let it put you off as they are friendly, drinks and food super !!

The family had a table of nine for our evening meal on Friday 12th May 2023.
I want to once again say a massive thank you to the staff for their amazing service. Friendly, attentive, and above all catered extremely well to the need of our little neice and indecisive grandparents. I'd have chucked us all out long before completing the food order!
Compliments to the chef/kitchen staff too. The food was incredible, and even the pickiest of children in our group wolfed the whole lot down.
Although I've lived up in Yorkshire/North Lincs, I will always enjoy coming back to the Woolpack. Reminds me of post cricket drinks and good times.
A lovely evening had by all, we will be back soon.

Enjoyed an evening meal and a couple pints of Master brew with 9 friends here. Hospitality was outstanding as was the service from friendly efficient staff. It was a great evening made by all involved in the running of this establishment.
